Mechanical contractor TD Industries is now an authorized service provider and distributor for Building Protection Systems Inc.’s terrorist attack detection system, the manufacturer announced.

Its Sentry One line detects and warns against chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear attacks in public buildings and transportation systems.

“TD Industries is the region’s recognized leader in mechanical construction, facilities operations, building automation and systems integration services,” said BPSI Chief Executive Officer Greg Eiler. “Partnering with TD Industries supports our goals of rapidly hardening American businesses and public gathering places against the catastrophic outcome of a CBRN  (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear) terrorist attack or accidental release.”

TD Industries will service and distribute the Sentry One line in Arizona and Texas.

Rob Crisler, TD Industries’ senior manager of building systems integration, said his company was excited at the opportunity to service and distribute the systems.

“Intelligent buildings today should be safe buildings, and we believe BPSI’s breakthrough technology is the ideal solution to provide protection to buildings and the people within them against targeted airborne chemical and radiological attacks, or accidental contamination,” he said.  “We are excited to be taking the lead in offering these mission critical detection solutions for our customers.”
