The Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’ National Association installed its new executive committee and board of directors. The officials will serve until Oct. 10.

Their terms began Oct. 14, 2009, at the close of SMACNA’s 66th annual convention in Palm Desert, Calif.

John Lindemulder Sr. of Amber Mechanical Contractors in Alsip, Ill., was named president and James Boone of New England Sheet Metal Works in Fresno, Calif., was named president-elect. Taking on the duties of secretary and treasurer is Richard Rivera of Key Air Conditioning Contractors in Santa Fe Springs, Calif.

Rob Biedermann of J.B. Henderson Construction Co. Inc. in Albuquerque, N.M., will serve as vice president, and John Ilten of Ilten’s Inc. in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is the immediate past president.

The newly elected directors serving four-year terms are Stephen J. Doonan of DeKalb Mechanical Inc. in DeKalb, Ill.; Steven J. Perrone of Harrington Brothers Corp. in Stoughton, Mass.; Stephen R. Richards of Richards Sheet Metal Works Inc. of Ogden, Utah;  and Howard “Mack” Spears of Reliable Electrical and Mechanical Services Inc. in Piqua, Ohio.

The newly elected director serving a one-year term is Jack Knox from R.F. Knox Co. Inc. in Smyrna, Ga.
