SMACNA-Arizona has launched its sixth annual 100-Degree Contest.

The public is invited to guess the first day it reaches 100°F at Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix.  The winner will receive a two-day getaway at the Four Seasons resort in Scottsdale, courtesy of Sheet Metal and Air-Conditioning Contractors’ National Association’s Arizona chapter members.

“The contest is designed to be a fun way for people to get ready for the hot months ahead and to help them learn more about SMACNA-Arizona’s member contractors and the quality, training and craftsmanship they provide,” said Carol Goguen, SMACNA-Arizona’s executive director.

The 2009 winner was Carrie Aranda of Mesa, Ariz., who correctly predicted April 21. To enter, visitthis Web site . One entry per day, per person is accepted.
