Whirlpool senior accounts manager Jamie Stroud has been named a certified green professional, company officials announced.

Stroud, who oversees Whirlpool Corp.’s southern states division, received the designation from the National Association of Home Builders. It identifies her as an expert in incorporating energy-efficient strategies and practices, Whirlpool said.

“We are proud to announce Jamie’s most recent accomplishment, which reinforces our commitment to being a comprehensive resource for building sustainably,” said Tracy Frye, senior contract marketing manager at Whirlpool. “Her new designation helps to distinguish the company as a knowledgeable source for the sustainable construction and building community.”
