The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling
Contractors Educational Foundation presented scholarships to students totaling
$6,000.
Jarad DeWolfe of Boylston, Mass.,
was presented with the PHCC Past National Officers Scholarship of $2,500. He is
enrolling at Flagler College in St. Augustine,
Fla., to pursue a four-year degree in business
administration and management, and was sponsored by PHCC member Joe Silk of
G&L Plumbing in Boylston, Mass.
Daniel
Bent Jr. of Marshfield, Mass., was awarded a $1,500 PHCC Auxiliary
of Massachusetts Scholarship. Bent is enrolled at Middlebury
College in Middlebury,
Vt., to pursue a four-year degree in
premedical sciences and was sponsored by PHCC National Auxiliary member Nancy
Shine of J.F. Shine Mechanical Inc. in Boston.
Theodore
Klesaris of Burlington, Mass., has been awarded a $2,000 scholarship
funded by the PHCC Educational Foundation and the South Jersey Mechanical
Contractors Association. Klesaris is enrolling at the University
of Massachusetts in Lowell to pursue a four-year degree in
business management. He was sponsored by Rob Basnett of Basnett Plumbing &
Heating in Littleton, Mass.
Fourteen students have been selected to receive 2009 scholarships with funding
for the remaining scholarship awards provided by A.O. Smith Water Heaters,
Bradford White Water Heaters and the Delta Faucet Co.
