Rotobrush International LLC is offering new
energy-efficiency products in an effort to help contractors enter this growing
market.
Company officials said it is offering contractors
the chance to provide home-energy audits, duct sealing, install radiant
barriers, insulation and clean dryer vents.
It will continue
to offer duct-cleaning products.
“By reaching into a timely
and rapidly growing market in energy-efficiency services and products, our
customers can earn more money while helping others save money,” said Steven
Bock, the CEO and president of Rotobrush. “This fits perfectly with our mission
to support our customers in being successful with their businesses. We will
devote the necessary internal and external resources, including people, to
execute on our mission.
“In this economic climate, we feel
it is important as a market leader to create new and stronger opportunities for
existing businesses, as well as offer opportunities to those businesses and
persons who may be displaced by the economy. With energy efficiency, you have a
needed set of service solutions in a marketplace projected to grow to over $700
billion,” Bock said.
Pat Hyland, the senior vice president
of sales at Rotobrush, added that the company’s new services are needed now
more than ever.
“The statistics are staggering. These are
necessary services,” Hyland said. “Dirty coils and ducts use 30 percent more
energy than clean ones, duct systems lose 25 percent to 45 percent of heating
and cooling energy due to leakage, 45 percent of a home’s heat loss comes from
inadequate insulation. It’s amazing.”
