The Testing, Adjusting and Balancing Bureau has received
approval from ANSI, the organization that oversees guidelines that impact
business in almost every sector.
American National Standards
Institute accreditation is meant to strengthen the position of U.S. operations
in the world while helping to assure the safety and health of
consumers.
TABB was developed by the National Energy
Management Institute Committee, a nonprofit corporation sponsored by the Sheet
Metal Workers union and the Sheet Metal and Air-Conditioning Contractors’
National Association.
TABB runs the associations’ testing,
adjusting and balancing certification program, which looks to ensure that HVAC
systems operate at the highest standards and with the greatest efficiency.
