American National Standards Institute accreditation is meant to strengthen the position of U.S. operations in the world while helping to assure the safety and health of consumers.

TABB was developed by the National Energy Management Institute Committee, a nonprofit corporation sponsored by the Sheet Metal Workers union and the Sheet Metal and Air-Conditioning Contractors’ National Association.

TABB runs the associations’ testing, adjusting and balancing certification program, which looks to ensure that HVAC systems operate at the highest standards and with the greatest efficiency.
