HVAC Excellence has teamed with retailer Home Depot to provide more than $300,000 in construction industry scholarships.

The program is open to students enrolled in apprenticeships and at trade schools, colleges and universities. More than 600 students expected to graduate within the next year will be given $500 scholarships.

The application deadline is June 20. Winners will be announced in September.
