Superior Boiler Works Inc. will show its new cut-away boiler at this month’s AHR Expo.

The annual trade show will be Jan. 26-28 at McCormick Place in Chicago.

The Hutchinson, Kan., manufacturer will exhibit a model boiler that uses the company’s Super Seminole design. It includes Superior’s Heatsponge Economizer as part of the system package.

The Super Seminole design is a three-pass wetback Scotch Marine boiler that can work low and high pressures with multiple energy sources.

When packaged with a Heatsponge Economizer, efficiency improves by about 8 percent, company officials said.

“We’re thrilled to introduce our most efficient boiler yet to the HVACR industry at the AHR Expo,” said Al Wasinger, Superior’s executive vice president of sales and marketing. “The AHR Expo is the ideal venue to showcase the latest innovation from Superior Boiler Works as well as the other products and services we offer to the industry.”

The company will be at booth No. 2257.
