Greenheck has introduced its new model QEM plenum fan, which the company says is ideal for lower pressure supply or return air-handling applications where first cost is critical. The QEM features a 12-bladed airfoil wheel that reduces energy consumption and sound levels. Greenheck officials claim that compared to other plenum fans in the market, the QEM requires less floor space for installation. Available in both belt and direct drive, the QEM can be specified with a range of accessories including inlet guards, protective cages and isolators. The belt-drive Model QEM is licensed to bear the AMCA seal for sound and air performance.
