Air Temp Mechanical Services Inc. in Hartford, Conn., now grosses $7.5 million each year.

Like many HVAC workers, Jeff Leone started working for his father’s air-conditioning business when he was 13.

After completing his technical school training and working as an assistance manager in the family business, Leone's father offered him a chance to buy the company. Leone said no.

However, a year later, he used $20,000 in savings to start his own company, Air Temp Mechanical Services Inc., in Hartford, Conn.

After a rough start, Air Temp now grosses $7.5 million annually. Leone credits Nexstar, the contractor group, for making his company succeed. He will explain how and why his company is growing Nov. 7-8 during a Nexstar Money Masters event at the Marriott Hartford Downtown in Hartford.

Attendees will learn how to improve cash flow, leadership skills and other business tips. For details, call (888) 240-STAR or seehttp://www.nexstarnetwork.comon the Internet.
