GHS Mechanical Inc. in Elk Grove, Ill., and Ruthrauff Service LLC in Pittsburgh are the latest companies to achieve MSCA Star status.
With the addition of these two companies, the program now has 89 Star-designated contractors.
The Mechanical Service Contractors of America says that its Star qualification program recognizes contractors who exceed rigorous operating and training standards set by the organization. Contractors must demonstrate that they offer customers’ unsurpassed support, quality workmanship and safe and reliable service.
Star contractors complete a detailed application covering a wide range of criteria, including maintaining a superior safety record, offering outstanding customer service and remaining focused on continuing education and training for all of their employees. In addition, at least 25 percent of the contractor’s technicians must be Star certified through the United Association.
“MSCA Stars are the best of the best - companies with proven track records of success that adhere to the highest standards of professionalism and company practices,” said Barbara Dolim, executive director of MSCA. “Star status signifies their commitment to providing their customers with the best service and value.”
