Four college students were recently awarded scholarships on behalf of American Standard Bath and Kitchen, and the PHCC Educational Foundation.

The scholarships were awarded to students enrolled in degree programs and majoring in subjects directly related to the plumbing and HVACR professions.

Funded by American Standard and administered by the PHCC Educational Foundation, the scholarship program is designed to attract new talent to the plumbing and HVACR industry.

This year’s recipients were Luke DeWolfe, Alex Gasper, Carla Molinario and Matthew Brian Stever.

DeWolfe of Boylston, Mass., is enrolled in a business and finance program at Georgia Southern University. He was sponsored by PHCC member Joseph M. Silk of G&L Plumbing Inc.

Gasper of Flushing, Mich., is a student enrolled in an HVAC engineering technology program at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Mich. Gasper was sponsored by PHCC member Steven Torrey of Johnson & Wood.

Molinario of Metairie, La., attends Our Lady of Holy Cross College, where she is enrolled in an accounting degree program. PHCC member Keith Bienvenu of Bienvenu Brothers Plumbing was her sponsor.

Stever of Red Hill, Pa., is enrolled in an HVAC program at the Pennsylvania College of Technology. He was sponsored by Phillip Mest of Western Center for Technical Studies.
