Ray Isaac

Ray Isaac, co-owner and president of Isaac Heating and Air Conditioning in Rochester, N.Y., was recently recognized by the Rheem heating and cooling division.

Isaac, a Rheem Team Top Contractor, was named the new chairman of the Air Conditioning Contractors of America. He has been an ACCA member since 1973 and most recently served as the senior vice chairman of the group.

“By observing and listening to his approach to customer service and his management philosophies, Ray has helped Rheem to better understand the needs of all contractors,” said Rheem’s vice president of sales, Jack Sinkler. “Essentially, Ray has helped us to become a better company and his business practices have elevated the Rheem brand to new heights in his local marketplace.”

Isaac also serves on several ACCA committees, including budget and finance, constitution and bylaws, nominating and the professional development committee. He is the chairman of the industry relations committee and former chair of the executive committee.

“We are very happy for Ray and Isaac Heating and Air Conditioning for all of their achievements over the past few decades, and are grateful for their contribution to the HVAC industry,” said Gary Wehunt, contractor support programs manager for Rheem Heating and Cooling. “We are confident that Ray will do an incredible job as the new ACCA chairman and congratulate him on this accomplishment.”

“I appreciate this recognition from Rheem and am honored and humbled to have been chosen for this important position in our industry,” said Isaac. “Every ACCA member, as well as every member of this industry, is integral to our success in advancing the professionalism, competence, and quality our collective customers deserve. I would also like to thank ABR Wholesalers for their long-standing relationship and support over the years.”
