Venture Tape Corp. has introduced two new products to its VentureClad product line. VentureClad 1577CWT is made with two layers of aluminum foil, a layer of polyester film and an outer layer coated with a special “Tedlar” cold-weather acrylic adhesive system. Tedlar is a chemically inert, lightweight, impervious film from DuPont that has distinctive mechanical, electrical and chemical properties. Paired with Venture Tape’s CW, a cold-weather acrylic adhesive, the new product offers the key benefits of zero permeability, moisture resistance and performance in harsh environments. VentureClad 1577CWT is Food and Drug Administration approved and is recommended for interior use in food processing plants on piping and ducts.
