The National Environmental Balancing Bureau received its seventh consecutive Golden Circle Award from ASHRAE.
The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers’ honored NEBB at its Jan. 29-31 winter meeting in Dallas. NEBB received the award for its support of society research.
“NEBB and ASHRAE share a common goal: making sure buildings are running at peak efficiency,” said NEBB President Jack Cappell, who accepted the award on the bureau’s behalf along with NEBB Executive Vice President Mike Dolim. “We’re proud to support an organization that works to promote advances in HVAC systems.”
Each year, NEBB raises $10,000 for ASHRAE research through sponsorship of an annual golf outing. Approximately 70 percent of NEBB professionals belong to ASHRAE.
