Dave Patterson of Academy Air was the winner of $1,000 and a Ford truck as part of American Standard’s Stars & Stripes promotion. On hand for the giveaway were Ken Perotta (left) and Paul Diraimondo of Crescent Parts & Equipment; Patterson and his wife, Shelley; Jamie Byrne, vice president of sales; and Joyce Warrington, brand director for American Standard Heating & Air.

Dave Patterson was the winner of a 2007 Ford F-150 King Ranch truck and $1,000 from American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning.

Patterson, a salesman with Academy Air in O’Fallon, Mo., won by taking part in American Standard’s annual “Stars & Stripes” incentive program. Patterson was one of 10 finalists who won a weekend in Las Vegas with a guest to attend the grand prize drawing. More than 9,000 dealers and sales consultants who qualified for rebates last year were eligible to be selected for the Las Vegas trip as part of a random drawing.

“My high-end customers are always happy with the quality of American Standard’s equipment, so I enjoy selling it,” Patterson said.

All 10 finalists won prizes, ranging in value from $1,000 to over $35,000. Prizes included a Dell computer, DVD systems, gift cards and more.

American Standard staff and representatives from Crescent Parts and Equipment, Academy’s American Standard distributor in St. Louis, joined the finalists Jan. 13 in Las Vegas for the drawing.

The 2007 Stars & Stripes program began March 1 and will continue through Oct. 31. For more information and eligibility requirements, dealers should contact their American Standard distributor.
