Fedders Corp. field-service technical managers Dennis Blievernicht, Bill Biggs, Tom DiGiacomo and Bob McIvor recently earned NATE certifications.
The certifications were earned in air conditioning, heat pumps and gas furnace installation and service.
Fedders’ field-service technical managers are led by Jon Howell. A NATE-certified technician who has been in the HVAC industry for over 18 years, Howell joined the Fedders service team in January.
North American Technician Excellence is a certification program for HVAC technicians. Fedders says it is the only program supported by the entire industry, including manufacturers, utility companies, wholesalers, educators, technicians, contractors and trade associations.
The manufacturer also said that being NATE certified means that Fedders’ technicians have achieved mastery of an industry-approved level of knowledge - on everything from proper sizing and installation of HVAC equipment to sealing of ductwork to ensuring that Fedders’ products are operating at peak energy efficiency.
“We are very proud that our group of technicians is authorized to wear the NATE patch, a symbol recognized by the industry and a growing number of consumers as the mark of HVAC technician excellence,” said Pete Gasiewicz, president of Fedders North America. “This even further enhances Fedders’ ability to provide its customers with first-class technical support.”
