Trevor-Martin Corp., a producer of residential heat-recovery units, has merged its heat recovery business with Doucette Industries Inc.

Doucette is a manufacturer of heat exchangers and desuperheater product lines.

John Borzoni, the current president of Trevor-Martin, will become national sales manager of Doucette’s new heat-recovery unit division, with John Lebo remaining president of Doucette Industries.

“Adding our residential HRU products to Doucette’s impressive lineup of heat-transfer products will enable our distributors to enjoy improved production lead times from a larger facility, as well as give them access to a fuller line of heat transfer products,” Borzoni said.

Additional staffing updates will be announced later with employment predicted to rise slightly, Lebo said.

“We expect a seamless transition as we assume responsibility for the manufacture and distribution of Trevor-Martin’s heat recovery products,” he said. “First, we will improve product availability and then plan to expand our overall marketing program in the coming months.”

He also added, “As energy costs continue to rise, it becomes more obvious that air conditioning heat recovery will continue to offer the consumer a simple and reliable way to both conserve energy and save on their utility bills.”
