Members of the ACCA will have the chance to meet with their elected officials during Washington Action Days. The Air Conditioning Contractors of America will partner with the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors-National Association for the April 18-19 event in Washington, D.C.
ACCA members will get the opportunity to meet with legislators and their staff to discuss issues such as lower health insurance premiums, small business tax relief and reduced regulatory burdens on contractors.
The event will be based at the Key Bridge Marriott in Rosslyn, Va. The first day will feature training sessions on effective lobbying, briefings on pertinent issues and roundtable discussions with key lawmakers. On the second day, members will be shuttled to Capitol Hill for a morning briefing. Members will then be allowed to attend meetings with their Congressional and Senate representatives.
