Braeburn Systems LLC received the 2006 Frost & Sullivan Award for Growth Strategy Leadership in the North American thermostats market.
Between 2001 and 2006, Braeburn saw a compound annual growth rate of 105 percent, when the overall market was only 4.8 percent, Frost & Sullivan officials said.
Braeburn said it focused on catering to varied customer needs and made extensive efforts to improve its product portfolio. The company introduced 20 different models between 2001 and 2006, while simultaneously improving and refining existing products.
“Braeburn has also devised a unique ‘pull-through’ strategy that provides a strong incentive for contractors to ‘pull’ Braeburn’s products off distributor’s shelves and into the market,” said Frost & Sullivan research analyst David Lee. “This strategy is primarily based on an innovative branding program that partners contractors with Braeburn to create a unique co-brand.”
Each year Frost & Sullivan presents this award to the company that has bolstered its position in the market during the year and whose strategy will have a lasting impact on the market.
