DuraLast Products has completed its move from New Orleans to Memphis, Tenn.
The air filters manufacturer and distributor was forced to move after its New Orleans warehouse was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina.
Company owner Rose Rich determined that it was impossible to rebuild in New Orleans and was looking for other options. Linde and Nathan Feibelman subsequently purchased the company in December and proceeded with plans to move the company to Memphis, Tenn.
The Feibelmans saw an opportunity to not only come to the aid of Rich, who did not want to see the demise of her business, but an opportunity to bring a new business to Memphis and boost the local economy.
DuraLast Products is a distributor of natural fiber and other reusable filters for the HVAC, oil field, refrigeration and other industries. The company also manufactures air boosters under the Robin Hood trademark.
