The construction industry’s comeback may be at hand, organizers of the 2012 International Roofing Expo say.

They are basing their opinions on the results of the recent “space draw” for the Feb. 22-24 convention at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. So far, 85 percent of the show floor - 758 booths and 75,800 square feet - has been reserved.

“Thanks to the returning exhibitors and first-timers, the 2012 space draw participants exceeded the 2011 number,” said expo director Lindsay Roberts. “These impressive space draw results bring a positive energy to the show while setting the tone for an outstanding event.”

Almost 300 exhibitors have been assigned space, organizers said.

"Exhibitors know the show is a proven source to grow their businesses, generate new leads, expand market share, close deals, and so much more,” said Bill Good, executive Vice President of the National Roofing Contractors Association, the show’s official sponsor.  “Companies need to secure their space today at this must-attend event.”
