The Quality Service Contractors raised more than $20,000 for an aviation program that benefits physically challenged children and young people.
The money was raised during a charity golf tournament Feb. 22 in St. Pete Beach, Fla., prior to the QSC's 24th Power Meeting.
The tournament was sponsored by the Hodes Co., which paid for all golfing fees and provided lunch and refreshments. QSC members paid a $175 registration fee to play.
Any money raised went to Challenge Air for Kids and Friends, a nonprofit, Texas-based organization that offers free flights to handicapped children.
QSC is an affiliate of the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors-National Association.
