CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - A new replacement program from Trane will offer a 5 percent rebate on IntelliPak and Voyager III commercial air-conditioning rooftop systems used as replacements for comparable equipment.
To qualify for the rebate, contractors needed to sign up with their local Trane sales office by March 31, and eligible equipment must ship between April 1 and Oct. 31. A rebate form must also be submitted, including the nameplate of the replaced unit by Nov. 30.
"Maintaining and replacing outdated HVAC equipment is a huge investment and unplanned shutdowns can cause discomfort for building occupants and revenue losses," said Philip Smyth, product manager for Trane. "This program is a cost-effective opportunity for contractors to replace outdated HVAC equipment with new, high-quality, reliable Trane IntelliPak and Voyager III units."
Replacements are usually done over a weekend to minimize disruption. The company reports that the footprint, utility connections and weight of the IntelliPak and Voyager III rooftops have not changed much over the years, making replacement easy and cost effective.
