APPLETON, Wis. - Miller Electric Manufacturing Co. has launched a truck-installation Web page designed to help distributors and manufacturers outfit service trucks with welding generators.
By visiting www.millerwelds.com/truck, users will find information on choosing the best product for their application, as well as instructions for mounting Miller's engine-driven welding generators, such as the Bobcat and Trailblazer series.
To meet the high demand for installation specifications, Miller says that it is offering technical drawings. Available in PDF and AutoCAD formats, the technical drawings show exact measurements on schematics. The drawings point out information to be aware of when mounting the welding generators, such as the clearance space necessary for minimum airflow around the unit. Airflow keeps the generators functioning properly, avoids overheating and prolongs the life of the unit.
Users can also view information for choosing a unit based on application, performance and additional features.
