Trumpf Inc. was recognized with a Silver Connecticut Quality Improvement Award Innovation Prize for its TC L 3040 laser-cutting machine. The machine includes a high-speed axis, which the company says efficiently minimizes machining times. The design of the TC L 3040 is modeled after the TC L 3030. This is the fourth consecutive year in which Trumpf has won the innovation prize. The award is presented to Connecticut manufacturing and service companies that excel in quality improvements for business growth.
