Rotobrush wins Patriotic Employer Award
March 1, 2009
Rotobrush International LLC was presented with an award that recognizes the company’s support of employees in the National Guard and Reserve.
The Patriotic Employer Award by the National Committee of Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve was given to the indoor air quality company. Robert Yates, a specialist in the Texas Army National Guard and a Rotobrush technical support representative, nominated his company for the award.
“They are very understanding about me having to leave for my weekend drills and more. They make sure to support the troops, and even those that are with the company that are no longer in the service,” Yates said.
Yates is currently serving his second tour of duty in Iraq. He plans to return to Rotobrush after his tour.
“We are so proud of Robert and his entire company for what they are doing for our country, and we will welcome him back with open arms when his tour is over,” said Heather Fallgren, vice president of Rotobrush customer care and technical support.
Leon Tribble, an Employee Support of Guard and Reserve ambassador, presented Rotobrush CEO and President Steven Bock with the Department of Defense Certificate of Appreciation and a Patriot lapel pin for the company’s award.
“We are honored to receive this award and feel as a company that we have a responsibility to give back and support those who sacrifice so much for our country,” Bock said.
David Raucher, a veteran captain in the U.S. Army Signal Corps and chief information officer at Rotobrush, added “I have to say, as a former military guy, I am very proud of Rotobrush for receiving this award.”
