The goal, according to Emerson, is to ensure these contractors have the products, tools, education and support they need to control energy costs, protect food and lengthen the life of refrigeration equipment. The company also hopes to help contractors stay competitive in the supermarket and convenience store industries.
"Emerson Climate Technologies is dedicated to the industry and our customers," said Matt Brown, contractor support manager for the company. "Part of that dedication is not only introducing the technologies needed to move the industry forward, but also providing the support for these products in the marketplace. Contractors who have been specifically trained to service these advanced products are more valuable to the industry as a whole. Specialized education, service training and application knowledge has become even more crucial for the supermarket refrigeration contractor."
To help contractors, Emerson recently introduced a product brochure focused on the supermarket industry. The brochure is the second in a series of new-product brochures designed to help contractors gain a more complete view of the systems that they are servicing as well as Emerson products and technologies.
"With this piece, we can explain the educational tools, advanced technologies and innovative services available to help them better serve their customers and grow their businesses," said Brown.
