Trane officials said they are accepting reservations for its fall 2002 schedule of commercial training courses.

Courses offer classroom theory with practical equipment and systems troubleshooting methods. Technicians will learn to diagnose problems with controls, refrigeration and airside systems, reducing time and expense when servicing Trane products. All refrigeration courses provide information on proper refrigerant handling and regulatory compliance. Classes are held in Trane's Technology Center training facility in La Crosse, Wis., or at the product's manufacturing facility.

A partial list of one-week courses includes ac service, commercial service 1 and 2, IntelliPak and Precedent/Voyager rooftop service, as well as rotary chiller service, absorption chillers, and CenTraVac.

Tuition is $1,300 for each course, except for CenTraVac Mechanical Service, which is $2,600. Tuition covers daily transportation, lunch, and training and reference materials. Registrants handle their own travel and hotel expenses.

Information is available on the Trane Web site: www.trane.com/com mercial/training/tech.asp, and from the technical training registrar at (608) 787-3232.
