Combo machine
January 31, 2002
The Vicon Model 8000 Hvac Sheet metal/Duct Liner combination machine uses a patent pending system for holding and cutting duct liner. Liner is cut using a router head, interchangeable with the plasma cutting unit used to cut sheet metal. This allows two processes to be run on one 5-ft. x 20-ft. table. The machine works with Vicon Cutting Software. A roto-zip tool keeps operating the Vicon system simple and easy. Other features include dual rack and pinion drives on both axes and a 45- to 100-amp plasma power supply.
