ANAHEIM, Calif. - Data-Basics, a provider of Internet-based enterprise applications for the service- and facilities-management industries, announced the signing of two clients. Philadelphia-based mechanical contractor J. J. White and Temperature Service Co. of Elk Grove Village, Ill., selected Data-Basics' core SAM Pro Enterprise software. J. J. White recently completed its software installation.

J. J. White's clients include Boeing, Sunoco Chemicals and JP Morgan Chase. The company needed a flexible system that would allow it to increase its productivity and profitability.

"We chose Data-Basics because of the product's scalability and the company's willingness to accommodate changes needed to make the software run most effectively," said Jason Morovich, information technology manager. "SAM Pro has already produced efficiencies for us, such as automatically feeding information to payroll and accounts payable directly from the work order."

Temperature Service Co. is a commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration-cooling equipment service with clients such as T.J. Maxx, Blommer Chocolate Co., Circuit City and CarMax. The company also offers design-build capabilities.

Temperature President Scott Templin said he wanted an integrated service-management program that included mobile work force and accounting, and that would allow his company to become a more efficient operation.
