KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Six students in the sheet metal competition at the national SkillsUSA championships were presented with medals June 24-25 in Kansas City, Mo.
In the college division of the competition, Jason Marken from Ogden, Utah, won the gold medal; Eric Frison of Little Canada, Minn., took the silver medal; and Joel Callaway of Belvedere, S.C., was presented with the bronze medal.
In the high school division, Joshua Taylor from Hephzibah, Ga., won the gold medal; Zachary Fisher from Kawkawlin, Mich., earned the silver medal; and Richard Barrette of Worcester, Mass., won the bronze medal.
Awards included products from Irwin Industrial Tools and Lenox hand tools and power tool accessories.
