GAITHERSBURG, Md. - "Cadpipe Hvac 2002" now allows straight duct reports to download directly to several plasma cutters.
GAITHERSBURG, Md. - Software manufacturer AEC Design Group recently announced that its "Cadpipe Hvac 2002" fitting and straight duct reports would now be able to download directly to several plasma-cutters via a link between the CAD and the CAM software.
"The download from Cadpipe to plasma tables is a critical capability which we want our users to have. Eventually we would like to be open to downloading to any plasma table," said AEC Design Group President Paul Hutchins.
Company officials are currently working with Mechanical Data of Knoxville, Tenn., and with Shop Data Systems of Garland, Texas, to complete the programming involved with the download capabilities.
