CHICAGO - The Spiral Duct Manufacturers Association (SPIDA) welcomed two new companies to the 16-year-old group at its annual meeting.

CHICAGO - The Spiral Duct Manufacturers Association (SPIDA) welcomed two new companies to the 16-year-old group at its Jan. 26 annual meeting.

Hamilton, Ohio-based Mantany Steel and Metal Products and Unifab Industries of Grand Forks, British Columbia, have joined the association. The firms will be represented by John Wilhelm, and Myron Nakata, respectively.

In other meeting business, three people were named to SPIDA's board of directors: Bob Tumberger of Perf-Etc. Steel Corp., Arlington Heights, Ill.; Dave Hinson of Dixie Sheet Metal Products Inc., Memphis, Tenn.; and Steven Streimer of Sheet Metal Works Inc., Portland, Ore.

The group also recognized longtime member Bob Uballez of ACCO Engineered Systems in Glendale, Calif. Uballez was resigning from SPIDA's board of directors after serving for 16 years.
