This vertical diaphragm switch goes anywhere a sump or wastewater pump will go, and will not hang up in a basin as float switches can. It is available as a separate unit for retrofitting, and is included on many of the company's sump, effluent and sewage pumps. The switch is activated by the vertical pressure of the surrounding fluids, and is said to be more accurate and reliable than float switches. The watertight housing is made of engineered thermal plastic. Models are available in a variety of switch settings, with differentials of 6 and 10 inches.
