Taylor Made installs hvac on mega-yacht
RICHMOND, Va. - Taylor Made Environmental Inc. supplied a 24-ton hvac system for the new 124-foot Trinity mega-yacht, Anjilis, which made its debut at the 2002 Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show.
The staged Marine Air Systems circulated-water system includes a four-stage, 24-ton chiller unit, and 26 air handling units with Passport II digital controls in each cabin. The enclosed after-deck has two 36,000 Btu air handlers, and the engine room is also air conditioned while at dockside with two 18,000 Btu Slimline series air handlers.
The scope of the work included extensive custom design, applications engineering, and technical support. The system was commissioned by Taylor Made Environmental technicians in September 2002.
The raised pilothouse motoyacht Anjilis is the latest Trinity mega-yacht to be air-conditioned by Taylor Made environmental. Other recent installations include the 177-ft. aluminum motoryacht Seahawk and the 192-ft. steel expedition yacht Ulysses.
