Sisneros lands contract

Sisneros Brothers Manufacturing of Belen, N.M. reports award of of a five year, $1.5 million contract with the U.S. Department of the Navy that will involve the manufacturing of ventilation ductwork for U.S. Navy seacraft. Sisneros Brothers employs 50 people and probably will expand to fulfill the contract. The company started out with four employees and over the past seven years has supplied the Navy with ductwork for more than 150 ships and submarines, including the USS Coronado, USS Kitty Hawk, and USS Independence. U.S. Senator Pete Domenici was credited with procedural matters in helping to secure the contract.
