Turn vane setting tool
November 30, 2000
"The Clincher" is a turn vane fastening tool designed to never need sharpening. Made for use with dimple-style vane rail, it is made of hardened 4140 tool steel in a one-piece design. The blades are made to face opposing angles, with zero tolerance between the blades. This allows "The Clincher" to cut the exposed metal twice and bend the three tabs in opposite directions with a single hammer blow. The tool will work with 26 to 20-gauge mild steel.
