Honeywell wins Nebraska medical job
Honeywell's North American Buildings business recently won a $1.4 million, multiyear commercial heating and cooling system expansion project at Bryan LGH Medical Center in Lincoln, Neb.
The project includes installing Honeywell controls for 192,000 square feet of new buildings, as well as renovations to the existing 8-story hospital, medical office building and energy plants.
Engineered Controls Inc., of Lincoln and Omaha, Neb., and Kansas City, Kan., will provide all temperature controls. Plans call for installation of the Honeywell Excel 5000 Open system.
"We won the project because of Engineered Controls' proven track record for service and support, coupled with the powerful performance of the Honeywell Excel 5000 Open system," said Honeywell sales representative Jeff Kirby. "Our Excel system features meet Bryan's needs, and the system will integrate easily with the medical center's current building management system."
