Top Gun distributors demonstrate the highest level of leadership in support of Carrier's strategic and financial objectives for commercial systems. Leadership is demonstrated in the following performance-based categories: share of market, share of market growth, asset management, percentage of engineered systems sales and percentage of controls sales. In addition, "Top Gun" distributors must set an example in customer support and best practices.
Carrier awards a $10,000 prize to each of its Top Gun distributors, with the stipulation that the award must be invested in training and business development.
The Top Gun award recipients include six-time winners: The Habegger Corporation / CAC - Fred Habegger, R.J. Murray - Robert Murray, Southern California Air Conditioning Distributors - John Staples, Temperature Systems - Terry Riker. Four- time winners include: Carrier Hawaii - John Arizumi, Temperature Equipment Corporation- Frank Mungo. First-time winners are: Carrier South Texas - John Lovelace, Koch Air - Eloy Bazaldua, Mingledorff's - Bud Mingledorff. Equipment Sales Corporation, represented by Frank Raue, vice president and CFO, was recognized in the category of "Most Improved."
