Retracting lifeline
December 1, 2000
This series of self-retracting lifelines was recently expended to include a 30-ft. wire rope model designed to be more compact. Other models area available in 20-, 50-, 65- and 130-ft. lengths. The ropes are ideal for construction, utility, communications and many other uses. All models are designed to allow free movement while stopping falls within two feet or less. A locking snap hook with a swivel at the end allows for fast, easy attachment to a body harness. A built-in load indicator lets users know when the unit has been involved in a fall and should be removed from service. Due to this feature, annual re-certification is not required.
