Wisconsin mechanical contractors merge
PEWAUKEE, Wis. - Total Comfort of Wisconsin Inc. has acquired Wenninger Mechanical Inc., creating one of the largest Milwaukee-area mechanical contractors. The sale price was not disclosed.

Total Comfort has approximately 250 employees, including more than 200 skilled trades workers represented by Steamfitters Local 601, Sheet Metal Workers union Local 18 and Plumbers Local 75. Wenninger, located in New Berlin, Wis., has approximately 65 employees. According to Braun, there will be no immediate staffing changes at either organization. Once the transition is complete, employees will be working out of Total Comfort's Pewaukee headquarters.
