INDIANAPOLIS - Ron Jackson, founder of Indianapolis-based Jackson Systems LLC, was inducted into the 2005 ACCA Hall of Honor June 29.

The honor recognizes those who have made significant contributions to the industry and the Central Indiana chapter of the Air Conditioning Contractors of America.

Jackson started Jackson Controls and managed the business for 20 years. After selling the company in 1982, he committed himself to inventing and specializing in the design of controls and tools. The Comfort System Zone Control product line, one of 10 patents credited to Jackson, is the core product for his latest company, Jackson Systems LLC.

Jackson was born and raised in Indianapolis and has been married to his wife Bette for over 40 years. They have four sons, two of whom work at Jackson Systems.
