FORT SMITH, Ark. - The Rheem and Ruud air-conditioning divisions recently honored the top-selling contractors for 2003.
Big Tex Air Conditioning in Houston was named the top seller for Rheem equipment in the South Central region, as well as the top national HVAC contractor.
"Big Tex Air Conditioning exemplifies salesmanship and professionalism," said Gary Wehunt, marketing programs manager for Rheem's air-conditioning division. "Outperforming thousands of Rheem contractors across the country in total sales of Rheem equipment is a tremendous accomplishment."
Fleet Heating & Air Conditioning in Sparks, Nev., was named the top Rheem contractor for the Southwest region. The company has increased its business by almost 50 percent during the past year.
"We are proud to accept this award," said Dan Gaddis, owner of Fleet Heating and Air Conditioning. "This achievement proves our hard working staff and our focus on salesmanship has paid off.
Isaac Heating & Air Conditioning in Rochester, N.Y., was named the top Rheem contractor in the Northeast, while Oscar Air Conditioning in Miami was named the top seller for the Southeast region.
The North Central top Rheem contractor was Tempco Heating & Air Conditioning in Arlington Heights, Ill.
Techni Aire in Brownsville, Texas, was the top Ruud contractor representing the South Central region. Trinity Heating & Air Conditioning in Freehold, N.J., and Arizona Cold Air were also top Ruud contractors, representing the Northeast and Southwest, respectively.
