ROTURA, New Zealand - Roll-forming machinery manufacturer Hayes International celebrated the production of its 1,000th roll-former. The benchmark machine was supplied to Stramit Building Products of Australia, a 25-year Hayes International customer.

The manufacturer is one of the Bradbury Group of companies, which specializes in the production of coil steel processing equipment, tooling and controls for world markets. It was also honored as the Rotura Business of the Year.

"The completion of our 1,000th machine is a milestone for Hayes, Rotura, and indeed for New Zealand. We have a great team here in New Zealand and offshore, and we are proud of our achievements. It is appropriate that the 1,000th machine should be for Stramit Building Products, one of our oldest and largest customers," said general manager Mike Lowe.
