DES PLAINES, Ill. - The North American Technician Excellence program has recognized the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society's Technical Institute manuals one through three.
There are currently 22 RSES training courses totaling 940 continuing education hours that have been recognized by NATE.
With the addition of the RSES manuals, technicians who successfully complete one or more of these courses will receive credit toward renewing their NATE certification. Technicians seeking re-certification must complete more than 60 hours of NATE-OK'd training in the last five years to avoid taking a re-certification exam. Technicians also have the option to retake the 100-question exam for re-certification or participate in 30 hours of NATE-recognized training and complete a 50-question re-certification test.
