The purpose of these scholarship programs is to help students prepare for careers in the profession, officials say. Scholarships are available to students who are enrolled in a full-time certificate or degree program in a Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors National Association-approved plumbing or HVAC apprenticeship program, an accredited two-year community college, technical college or trade school or an accredited four-year college or university.
Students enrolled in a PHCC-approved apprenticeship program must also be working full-time for a licensed plumbing or HVAC contractor who is a member of the association.
