Metal patching
October 1, 2003
Lab-Metal, a single-component aluminum-loaded repair and patching compound, is available in caulking tubes. It does not require two-part mixing and hardens by exposure to air into a metal that can be sanded, grinded and tapped. The dent filler withstands temperatures to 350¿F, or one-time exposures to 425¿F. It is applied by putty knife, paintbrush or spray equipment.
