BROADVIEW, Ill. -The Unified Group, has renewed its agreement with General Motors Corp. to provide member companies with an incentive package for fleet purchases.

Members can receive special prices on the purchase or lease of 2004 vehicles, including the Astro, Safari, Express, Savana, Sierra and the Silverado. Purchasers receive an invoice credit and earn an additional rebate for vehicles purchased through the group program.

Additional General Motors benefits include an assigned service field manager, a roadside assistance program, and a courtesy care package.

The 5-year-old Unified Group includes 34 contractors representing more than $650 million in annual revenue.

During the company's November annual meeting in Maui, Hawaii, these members received awards for serving on the board of advisors: Brett Holscher, Bubeck Service Inc., Lenexa, Kan.; Randy Stone, Nashville Machine Co., Nashville, Tenn.; Dave Nichols, Climate Systems Inc., Williston, Vt.; Dennis Cloutier, Heating & Plumbing Engineers, Colorado Springs, Colo.; Jeffrey Chambers, Desert Refrigeration & Heating, Phoenix; Tom Payne, Miller Bonded Inc., Albuquerque, N.M.; Blaz Lucas, Air Comfort Corp., Broadview, Ill.; Chris Hightower, Air Management Systems, Miami; Tom Foldes, Baker Group, Des Moines, Iowa; and Dino Mangione, Donnelly Mechanical, Queens Village, N.Y.

Service awards were presented to the following members:

Dave Nichols received the Dedication Award. John Philbin of Guardian Environmental in Livonia, Mich.; Rich Bielak of Air Comfort Corp. in Broadview, Ill.; and Gerry Wiegmann of Wiegmann Associates in St. Charles, Mo., all received the Opportunity Award. Wiegmann also received the Commitment Award.

Nichols, Holscher and Foldes also received awards for innovation, vision and communication. Al Guzik of Energy Management in Cleveland also received the Vision Award.

Tim Smerz of Air Comfort Corp., Kevin Almon of Hermanson Co. in Kent, Wash.; and Denny Mann of Marina Mechanical in San Leandro, Calif., all received the Leadership Award.

Cloutier and John Sloan of Ruthrauff Inc. in McKees Rocks, Pa., received the Value Award.
